Garden Club de Monaco
3, rue Philibert Florence, Monaco

The Garden Club of Monaco, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1968 by late Princess Grace of Monaco. A great lover of nature and a flower lover, She wanted to promote the art of arranging flowers and inspire a desire to better appreciate their beauty.

In 1982, the Princess of Hanover succeeded Princess Grace as President of the Garden Club of Monaco. Under Her leadership, the Club developed its activities in accordance with the wishes of its Founder and invested in multidisciplinary teaching dedicated to floral art, focusing in particular on bouquet creation, the art of gardening, garden design, garden outings and visits, and the organization of courses and workshops, with particular attention to respect for the environment, a principle dear to Prince Albert II and the Princess of Hanover. The courses are taught by the most qualified members and professionals in the sector. Each year, a trip abroad is organized: it is an opportunity to discover new horizons, museums, parks, and the beauty of certain residences. But the unmissable event for lovers of plants, flowers, and floral decoration is the annual bouquet competition, which has welcomed up to 100 competitors from different nations such as the United States and Japan. The competition is open to everyone, from passionate amateurs to professionals, from decorators to floral art teachers.
